Q: how can i place an order for something?
A: email me at

Q: what type of work do you do?
A: i typically deal with figurine commissions, usually based on popular video games, however i am more than happy to do commissions of whatever character you like: fictional characters, cartoons or even your own original character.

Q: how do you make these figurines?
A: these are originally 4-inch Kidrobot Do-It-Yourself blanks, that have been modified extensively to resemble a character. i can also use other items (such as action figures) in order to make the character less cartoony. these are one of a kind sculptures that have been built with clay and paint, so they are susceptible to damage if mishandled or dropped (read: not a child's play thing!)

Q: how much?
A: depending on the amount of sculpting needed, my work starts at $100. more detail necessitates a higher price! for example, a simple figure such as will cost $100, while custom action figures will go for as much as $300. orders over $300 will also be charged 2.9% in order to cover Paypal's transfer fee.  i will ask for 50% of my quoted price to place you into my commission queue.  the other 50% is taken when i begin work on your project.  shipping+insurance is paid after the commission is complete.

Q: what about discounts?
A: i am doing a new loyalty discount system starting in 2014.  after you order a sculpture, you are given a 5% discount for the rest of your commissions for the next 365 days.  if you spend more than $500 within that time span, you get 10% off of one commission.  if you refer a friend who places a commission with me, you earn an additional 5% off your next order.  the maximum amount allowable is 15% off of one commission.

Q: what about shipping?
A: shipping costs are also paid by the buyer. this includes packaging to protect the sculpture and insurance in case of damage.

Q: when do you ship?
A: i ship only after shipping payment is made. my shipping days are monday and thursday.

Q: how can i pay?
A: i take payment only thru paypal and dwolla. all orders will require a relatively small advance to be used towards materials.

Q: what about refunds?
A: as a buyer, your opinion is sought throughout the creation process - you can ask for specific requests or modifications. all sales are final.

Q: how long does it take to make one?
A: depending on the character, anywhere from 3 days up to 2 weeks. please also take into account my current commission queue.

Q: do you make art other than toys/figurines?
A: yes i do! i can make drawings and paintings, either on paper, canvas or skateboards. the price of these also depend on the amount of detail (time) spent on the object.

thanks for taking the time to read this, i will gladly answer any questions posted here. for previous and continual customers, please feel free to leave feedback for me and my work.

What about no discounted, 6-inch figurine price?
samdejesus Nov 13, 2013  Professional Artisan Crafter
$300 is the base for a 6-inch figurine.  this is because it is figurine with a decent amount of detail/colors.

the dragon's height would be at 6-inches, but with her form will probably at least 10 inches in length.
So how much do you charge for each inch of the figurine added?
